Statement

"Action #10: Untitled (Ripéala)" is a performance full of political and social symbolism. Held at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama, the artists, dressed as Panamanian pioneers, perform a radical act: we tear and destroy two Cuban flags. This gesture, impossible to carry out in Cuba due to the government's reprisals, becomes a metaphor for the polarisation that Cuban society is experiencing. By destroying the flag, we not only express our disagreement with the regime, but also make visible the internal fracture of a people divided by their own authorities.
